Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Northborough, MA seeks an Integration Analyst to design secure, scalable data flows across global platforms. You will architect integrations, evaluate iPaaS vs REST-based approaches, and build custom adapters and microservices when needed. This is a hands-on role requiring collaboration with InfoSec, infrastructure, and application owners.

Initially onsite for six months, then hybrid with three days in the office. Expect travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience supporting enterprise data integrations in a multi-system environment.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, integration patterns, and modern data exchange formats (REST, JSON, XML).
• Familiarity with iPaaS, custom API development, middleware, or event-driven workflows.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Understanding of authentication, error handling, retry logic, and basic monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Connect enterprise systems platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and message queues.
• Evaluate OOB connectors versus custom-built solutions, balancing cost, security, and maintainability.
• Develop middleware (microservices, SDKs) to support complex integration logic.
• Implement robust error handling, retries, idempotency, and monitoring strategies.
• Create and execute data mappings, transformations, validation flows, and schema versioning.
• Define API contracts, authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, API Keys), and secrets management.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, infrastructure, and application owners to meet compliance standards.
• Instrument integrations with logging, tracing, and metrics for insights and reliability.
• Document integration architectures, runbooks, SLAs, and provide ongoing production support.
