Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects spanning data center developments, coordinating requirements, schedules, risks, and cross-functional partners.

In this role, you will drive program execution across offices and time zones, focus on fleet capacity OKRs, and orchestrate infrastructure deployment. You’ll engage with external authorities and navigate cross-border regulatory considerations to scale Alphabet’s technology footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program or project management.
• 8 years of experience managing programs across distributed systems.
• Experience in negotiation, including resolving regulatory, land-use, or utility bottlenecks internationally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical risk strategies and due diligence across a complex regional portfolio of data center developments.
• Drive program execution that directly impacts fleet capacity OKRs and orchestrate infrastructure deployment projects.
• Intervene in highly critical escalations and lead high-stakes negotiations with external authorities, utility providers, and land developers.
• Identify systemic process breakdowns between acquisition, real estate, and construction.
• Identify blockers for data center construction and development, and lead cross-functional efforts to durably resolve issues.
