G&W Electric Co. seeks an Indirect Category Manager to lead supplier strategy, performance, and cost-out programs across global locations. You will develop a three-year category plan, drive cost reductions, and manage supplier relations to meet delivery and quality targets.

The role requires manufacturing experience, strong analytical and presentation skills, and collaboration with multiple functions. A comprehensive benefits package and quarterly incentive program are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in category or commodity management/supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience in a make-to-order or engineer-to-order environment preferred.
• APICS or ISM certification is a plus.
• Experience building presentations for an executive audience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier strategy, performance, cost-out program and inventory for assigned category.
• Conduct local and global market analysis and sourcing strategies.
• Develop cost savings strategies including negotiations and supplier consolidation.
• Execute strategies to achieve annual cost savings goals.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with category suppliers and track progress.
• Collaborate with quality team to resolve supplier quality issues and NCRs.
• Improve on-time delivery and purchasing processes for material availability.
