Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an experienced Immunology Safety professional to support the planning and execution of safety strategies across a drug's lifecycle. You will lead the development and implementation of asset safety plans with management support, and you will review complex safety data for regulatory documents to ensure scientific rigor.

The role requires strong English communication, ability to influence cross-functional teams, and expertise in clinical safety strategy development.

Qualifications

• Requires scientific or clinical degree and 5+ years in pharma, preferably patient safety/PV.
• Must understand clinical trial methodology, regulatory/compliance requirements, and study design.
• Ability to analyze complex safety data and support risk-benefit decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of safety strategy for immunology assets across lifecycle.
• Lead development and implementation of asset safety strategy with PST-L or management support.
• Review and synthesize scientific safety data for regulatory/clinical documents ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Facilitate scientific connections and information exchange across assets within safety teams.
• Prepare material on competitive intelligence and standard of care for key indications.
