Job summary

MetroSys is seeking an experienced OT/SCADA Deployment Engineer to roll out the Ignition SCADA platform across multiple industrial locations. The role focuses on implementation, site configuration, equipment connectivity, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning rather than architecture.

Prior Ignition experience is desirable but not required; strong OT/SCADA background is valued. The consultant will collaborate with OT and architecture teams to deploy standardized Ignition environments using

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with SCADA, OT systems, or industrial automation.
• Hands-on experience deploying SCADA/HMI environments.
• Experience connecting SCADA to PLCs and field devices.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Ignition SCADA environments across industrial sites.
• Install components using client architecture, templates, and gold-image configurations.
• Configure site-specific SCADA settings and template adaptations.
• Connect Ignition to PLCs, controllers, databases, historians, and OT systems.
• Troubleshoot communications between SCADA servers, field devices, and networks.
• Document configurations, deployment steps, and site-specific changes.
• Support multiple deployments as the program expands globally.
