Job summary
JPMorgan Chase’s Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (GFICC) Trading Team in New York seeks an Investment Grade Credit and Rates Trader to originate and execute ideas, collaborate with PMs and researchers, and drive investment implementation in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in fixed income, with strong Python programming and a keen interest in AI-enabled trading.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fixed income markets or financial services.
- Strong programming skills (Python and/or other languages) and interest in applying AI to increase trading efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Trading US Investment Grade Credit and US Rates products.
- Support Investment Grade primary market activity.
- Generate, evaluate, and implement investment ideas with PM teams.
- Use fundamental, technical, and relative valuation analysis to form market views.
- Collaborate with PMs and research to inform investment decisions.
- Adhere to trading policies and risk management.
- Present trade ideas and market flows to investment teams.
- Build and maintain broker relationships and participate in reviews.
