Job summary

IMC Trading is seeking an exceptional HPC Systems Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of a global HPC infrastructure. You will drive innovation and deliver scalable solutions for advanced computational needs, including ML workloads, across a high-performance trading environment.

In this role, you will architect systems, optimize performance, manage projects end-to-end, and collaborate with quant researchers, software engineers, and traders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in HPC architecture, system design, or a similar role in a large-scale compute environment.
• Deep expertise in HPC design, Linux administer, HPC tools, GPUs, and high-performance networks.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee the implementation of advanced HPC systems for high-impact applications, including ML workloads.
• Integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance compute power and capabilities.
• Evaluate and select hardware and software solutions optimizing for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Partner with global teams to enforce architectural standards across HPC environments.
