Job summary

Barings LLC is seeking a Senior Associate, Client Portfolio Manager – Global High Yield and CLOs in Charlotte, NC. The role partners with investment teams and sales to support business development, client servicing and product development for Global High Yield and CLO strategies.

You will collaborate with the Global Client Group to grow assets and advance firm-wide fixed income initiatives. The candidate will interact with senior team members, participate in client meetings, and respond quickly

Qualifications

• University degree; 3–5 years of relevant work experience in investment management or investment specialist/product strategist/client portfolio manager role.
• Strong interest in financial markets; high yield bonds, CLOs experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; analytical approach; ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a team environment; proficient in PowerPoint/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and prepare marketing and servicing materials including pitch books and market updates.
• Lead preparation and distribution of regular market and strategy updates to clients and prospects.
• Support senior team members and contribute to platform initiatives; collaborate with internal teams for RFPs and DDQs.
• Develop partnerships with investment teams; attend meetings to deepen knowledge and expertise.
• Respond timely to client and prospect requests; communicate strategies internally and externally to grow assets under management.
• Stay updated on market developments and competitor intelligence.
