Job summary

V2X Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic CLS Instructor for a Mobile Training Team. You will teach diagnostic and repair of military and civilian wheeled equipment, perform hands-on maintenance, and ensure safety during field deployments across CONUS/OCONUS locations.

The role requires a US citizen with DoD clearance, a valid passport, and a driver’s license. Expect flexible scheduling and travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years troubleshooting and repairing military and civilian wheeled equipment.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Valid U.S. passport and state driver’s license.
• Familiar with electronic technical manuals.
• CAC eligibility within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert instruction on vehicular mechanical/electrical repair and maintenance.
• Inspect, test, and operate wheeled equipment to determine serviceability.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wheeled vehicles and trailers.
• Disassemble and reassemble components, manage corrosion and hazardous materials handling.
• Support radar systems installation and repair as needed with training.
