Job summary

University of Cincinnati is inviting applications for a Global Health Fellowship within the Department of Family & Community Medicine. The program is a one- or two-year, non-ACGME fellowship with appointment as an entry-level faculty member and potential MPH tuition remission.

Fellows engage in clinical care for underserved populations, partner with international collaborators, and contribute to teaching residents and medical students. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) required.
• Licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board.
• Completion of a US ACGME-accredited three-year Family Medicine Residency.

Responsibilities

• Clinical care: Provide primary care for underserved and immigrant/refugee patients at a City of Cincinnati primary care location.
• LMIC partner capacity building: Four weeks per year in-country with longitudinal engagement with partners.
• Academic leadership: Teach residents and medical students within Global & Underserved Health.
