Job summary

As the most senior toxicology expert, you will manage study design, timelines, external collaborations, and regulatory interactions, ensuring safety data informs program decisions and company strategy.

Qualifications

• PhD in toxicology or related field with 15+ years of experience.
• Experience building and leading a drug safety/toxicology team (preferred 10+ years).
• DABT certification strongly preferred.
• Regulatory strategy and safety study design knowledge for INDs/NDAs.

Responsibilities

• Create a long-term global toxicology strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Lead regulatory toxicology and safety pharmacology directions.
• Oversee toxicology findings and advise on impact to program goals.
• Design and implement external toxicity studies (in vitro and in vivo).
• Develop and manage IND/NDA toxicity study plans and budgets.
• Communicate study results to teams and senior management.
• Engage with CROs, consultants, and external partners.
• Participate in regulatory meetings.
