Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Leader to direct the global team from our Houston facility. You will own purchasing, sourcing, and supplier relationships, ensuring on-time procurement, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance across multinational operations.

You will drive performance metrics, lead continuous improvement, and oversee ERP, WMS and warehouse activities to support product availability and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics or warehouse management.
  • Demonstrable leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong experience in purchasing, supplier management and inventory control.
  • Experience operating across multiple locations or international environments.
  • Excellent commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
  • Healthcare, medical equipment or pharmaceutical sector experience.
  • Experience managing global logistics and remote operations.
  • Knowledge of GDP, DEA or other regulated supply environments.
  • APICS, CIPS, ASCM or equivalent professional qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and manage the global Supply Chain team.
  • Establish objectives, KPIs and service standards.
  • Own purchasing activities and develop sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, availability and risk.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts and commercial terms.
  • Manage supplier performance and approval processes.
  • Ensure continuity of supply through planning and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure timely procurement, inventory replenishment and product availability across global operations.
  • Oversee international logistics and distribution for remote and challenging operating environments.
  • Monitor supply chain performance and resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Provide strategic oversight of warehouse operations, inventory control and distribution at the Houston facility.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, stock rotation, lot traceability and asset management.
  • Ensure facility, security and operational standards are maintained.
  • Own quality management across procurement, warehousing, inventory and distribution.
  • Ensure regulatory, client and company compliance, audit readiness and accurate inventory records.
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee ERP, inventory and warehouse management systems.
  • Develop performance reporting and operational metrics.
  • Standardize processes, strengthen controls and lead efficiency and service improvement initiatives.
