Job summary

Vontier Corporation is seeking a Vice President of Software Engineering to lead the global retail technology engineering organization. You will steer cloud-native and on-premise systems, including POS, IoT, analytics, and telemetry, across multiple regions with up to 15% travel.

You will partner with the CTO and senior leaders to drive a cohesive Retail Technology vision, ensure scalable architectures, and deliver next-generation retail solutions worldwide.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a leadership role within retail solutions or tech.
• Deep knowledge of modern cloud systems and leading technology providers.
• Executive presence with track record of engaging with large customers and peers.
• Experience managing large engineering teams (100-250+).
• Strong communication for executive-level presentations.
• Experience with next-gen POS, IoT and cloud-based systems.
• Understanding of PCI security standards and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a global engineering team across multiple locations.
• Oversee a substantial business portfolio with global revenue impact.
• Develop and execute a technology vision and architectural roadmap for major product lines.
• Collaborate with the CTO and executives to advance the Retail Technology strategy.
• Travel up to 15% to support the global organization.
