Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking a senior leader to head Master Reference Data Operations in New York. The role will oversee vast data functions across client data, entity data, document operations, and security listings, driving large-scale transformation and governance to support risk and regulatory needs.

The candidate will design strategic plans, manage budgets, mentor a global team, and partner with Citi labs to implement automated, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in global financial institutions.
• Series 99 Licensed.
• Specialized program management and/or re-engineering certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Agile, Lean).
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing effective and diverse teams across a global footprint.
• Financial services and transformation experience with large-scale programs.
• Strong communicator with senior management; familiarity with regulatory landscape in global banks.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute large-scale Client Lifecycle Management and transformation programs.
• Drive digitization, automation, and innovative solution implementation with operations teams.
• Standardize processes and workflows to ensure global consistency.
• Partner with innovation labs and technology partners to transform operating model.
• Develop and execute medium- to long-term strategic plans for the functions.
• Build and manage relationships with stakeholders and program sponsors.
• Communicate status, issues, and risks to senior management.
• Manage budget and contribute to policy planning and future strategy.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a diverse global team across a multi‑national footprint.

Education

BS/BA degree or equivalent

Master’s degree preferred
