Job summary

Hologic is seeking a Director, Global Product Management for its Cytology and Digital Pathology portfolio. This hybrid role leads the global PM team, shapes portfolio strategy, and drives long-range planning across hardware, software, and AI-enabled solutions.

The role partners with executive leadership, R&D, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams to propel growth, optimize lifecycle management, and maximize customer value in a fast-evolving diagnostics landscape.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in product management, marketing, or related roles within diagnostics, pathology, life sciences, or medical technology.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing a team of direct reports.
• Proven success developing and executing portfolio strategies
• Experience navigating relationships across functions and senior leadership
• Experience managing global portfolio across hardware, software, and algorithm development
• Knowledge of cytology/histology diagnostic instrumentation, workflow, and customer segments preferred
• Experience leading software solution development, release schedules, and pricing models
• Strong leadership, business and financial acumen

Responsibilities

• Drive global product strategy and roadmaps for cytology and digital pathology portfolio.
• Define portfolio and investment priorities across systems, AI, automation, software, consumables, and workflow solutions.
• Lead portfolio planning, forecasting alignment, and capital planning with finance and commercial leadership.
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle management from strategy to end of life.
• Champion sustainability of installed base, reliability, upgrade paths, and total cost of ownership.
• Partner with service, quality, and operations to monitor fleet performance and drive improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and scale digital solutions and AI platforms.
• Translate customer needs and market trends into portfolio direction.
• Define KPIs and monitor product performance; respond to competitive activity.
• Engage customers and key stakeholders to inform strategy and gather feedback.
• Support go-to-market strategies, sales tools, and training for cytology and digital pathology.
• Coach and develop a global PM team and establish best practices.
