Job summary

GSK in the United States seeks a senior leader to head Global GMP Clinical Manufacturing Operations, ensuring on-time scale-up, manufacture and supply of high-quality GMP products for clinical trials across six sites and multiple modalities.

Reporting to the SVP of CMSC, you will drive modernization, digitalisation, and a robust capital program, while leading a global team of ~300 scientists, engineers and technicians with a strong focus on patient safety, data integrity and regulatory

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related.
• 10+ years in large pharmaceutical/biotech GMP manufacturing operations.
• Experience in cross-modality drug development/manufacturing across CMC.

Responsibilities

• Line leadership of ~300 scientists, engineers and manufacturing experts across 6 sites in 4 countries.
• Ensure on-time scale-up, manufacture and supply of GMP drug substances/products for clinical trials.
• Drive modernization and digitalisation as part of the CMC Digital Strategy & Acceleration goals.
• Oversee major capital projects including Marietta Steriles Facility and UM Flex factory.
• Monitor external CMO landscape and identify opportunities to strengthen internal manufacturing.
• Develop strategic workforce plan and succession pool aligned to future needs.
