Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a General Manager, Environmental & Process Monitoring (EPM) to lead a global emissions monitoring business serving the Americas, APAC and EMEA. You will craft strategy, own the P&L, and drive sustainable growth with an innovation-led portfolio.

The role requires building a high-performing team, partnering with R&D and engineering to deliver differentiated solutions and a strong commercial and operational performance in a complex global market.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in global industrial, instrumentation, analytical technologies or similarly complex tech business.
• Experience translating strategy into operating priorities and results.
• Experience leading product management and portfolio strategy, including lifecycle management.
• Strong commercial orientation with pricing, channel strategy and market development.
• Experience partnering with R&D and engineering to build and execute innovation roadmaps.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex global operations and trade-offs across growth, investment and profitability.
• Proven ability to attract, develop and retain high-performing teams and build succession pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Set global EPM strategy, own the business P&L, and identify opportunities for sustainable organic growth.
• Define and execute the product/technology roadmap, strengthen portfolio/lifecycle management, and partner with R&D and PM to accelerate innovation.
• Lead a customer-first commercial strategy, strengthening funnel management, pricing, channel effectiveness and relationships to drive growth.
• Establish cross-functional operating mechanisms to improve quality, delivery, productivity and gross margin while managing investments.
• Lead and develop a diverse global team, strengthening leadership and talent pipelines amid change.
