Job summary

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience supporting Global Force Management (GFM), force sourcing, force allocation, readiness, or operational planning activities within the Department of War.
  • 4+ years supporting Joint, Combatant Command, Service, or Space Force planning activities, including JPP, APEX, campaign or contingency planning.
  • 1+ years integrating space capabilities into joint operations, supporting geographic Combatant Commands.
  • Knowledge of GFM policies and authorities governing force assignment, allocation, apportionment, and employment.
  • Ability to analyze force requirements, readiness, and operational risk for global force employment and synchronization.
  • Ability to coordinate across Combatant Commands, Military Services, Joint Staff, Space Force, and partners.
  • Ability to prepare executive-level briefings, decision papers, and written products for senior leaders.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% and TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support Global Force Management activities and space force planning within the DoD.

You Have:

4+ years of experience supporting Global Force Management (GFM), force sourcing, force allocation, readiness, or operational planning activities within the Department of War

4+ years of experience supporting Joint, Combatant Command, Service, or Space Force planning activities, including the Joint Planning Process (JPP), Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX), campaign planning, or contingency planning.

1+ years of experience integratingspace capabilitiesinto joint or combined operations, including support to geographic Combatant Commands

Knowledge of GFM policies, processes, and authoritiesgoverning force assignment, allocation, apportionment, and employment

Ability to analyze force requirements, readiness, and operational riskto develop recommendations supporting global force employment and synchronization

Ability to coordinate and synchronize activitiesacross Combatant Commands, Military Services, Joint Staff, Space Force organizations, and interagency or allied partners

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
