Job summary

Sotheby’s in New York is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage integrated shipping for fine art and luxury items, domestically and internationally, ensuring timely delivery and compliance.

You will liaise with vendors, prepare customs documents, monitor shipments, and optimize carrier options while delivering exceptional client service. A Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of logistics experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of logistics industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, packing methods, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent client service and communication skills; able to work with staff and clients.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Arrange shipping and logistics requirements for all property.
• Coordinate with Pre Sale and Post Sale teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Monitor quote requests and ensure timely responses per service levels.
• Obtain quotes from shippers and select cost-effective options.
• Prepare and validate shipment requirements and documentation.
