United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Global Financial Crimes Threat Identification & Liaison Executive, a recognized expert guiding enterprise-wide risk management on financial crime issues across corruption, cybercrime, and illicit finance. Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Global Financial Crimes, Compliance, Operational Risk, or related risk management disciplines.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial crime risks through threat detection, monitoring, and investigative practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial crime typologies, emerging threats, and regulatory expectations related to anti-money laundering, fraud, economic sanctions, and illicit finance risks.
  • Experience developing and leveraging relationships with law enforcement, regulatory, and industry partners to support information sharing and public-private collaboration.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders, government agencies, law enforcement partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and insights, and communicate recommendations.
  • Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment in a dynamic risk environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, and experience leveraging data analytics and emerging technologies to support risk management objectives

Responsibilities

  • Leads the enterprise identification and assessment of emerging financial crime threats, typologies, and illicit finance risks, providing strategic direction on risk mitigation priorities.
  • Directs relationships with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and industry organizations to enhance intelligence sharing, public-private collaboration, and threat awareness.
  • Oversees the translation of internal and external intelligence into actionable threat assessments, targeted risk analyses, and strategic recommendations.
  • Advises senior executives and governance forums on significant financial crime threats, regulatory developments, and emerging risk trends impacting the enterprise.
  • Drives enhancements to financial crime prevention, detection, monitoring, and surveillance capabilities through partnership with business, risk, and investigations teams.
  • Oversees financial crime risk governance activities, including reporting, issue management, remediation oversight, and escalation of significant risks and concerns.
  • Reviews and challenges risk management frameworks, controls, assessments, and coverage strategies to ensure effective management of financial crime and sanctions risks
