Job summary

Assurant invites students to join its Global Finance Internship Program in Atlanta for a 12-week, hands-on experience across Accounting, Finance, Tax, Investments, Internal Audit & Analytics, Vendor Management or Actuarial.

Interns contribute to meaningful business initiatives and build professional capabilities through structured learning and mentorship, with a capstone presentation to leadership at the end.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program; at least one semester remaining after summer internship.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 - June 2029.
• Basic Excel skills; willingness to develop advanced Excel & Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation activities.
• Participate in month-end close tasks and audit preparation.
• Analyze structured data and develop insights for business decisions.
• Assist in building dashboards, financial models, and KPI reports.
• Conduct research, synthesize findings, and communicate recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
• Present project outcomes and learnings during the capstone.
