Job summary

Sora Resource Group seeks a Systems Integration Engineer to own integration, testing, and troubleshooting of EO/IR payloads within customer platforms. This role acts as the technical bridge between engineering teams, U.S.-based customers, and prime contractors.

Based in Germantown, MD, on-site with 35% travel and some international travel, you will lead end-to-end system integration across hardware, software, and mechanical interfaces and support field deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering).
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, test engineering, or field engineering roles.
• Hands-on system-level integration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with government, defense, or security customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system and payload integration across customer platforms.
• Debug and resolve issues during integrations, deployments, and field support.
• Coordinate with customers and prime contractors as the technical point of contact.
• Translate customer requirements into technical actions.
