Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Communications Manager to lead the strategy and editorial direction for internal and partner communications. You will oversee recurring channels for field teams and partner ecosystems, shaping messaging and prioritizing audience actions.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Communications, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure clear, timely, and impactful communications aligned with Autodesk priorities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in communications or related field
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with ability to simplify complex information
• Experience developing and executing communications strategies and plans that support business objectives
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to prioritize information by audience needs
• Experience managing recurring communications, editorial programs, content calendars, or multi-channel communications
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve communications workflows
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead the communications and editorial strategy for recurring channels serving Autodesk's global field and partner audiences
• Develop editorial calendars and content plans connecting business priorities with audience needs
• Translate complex information into clear, engaging communications for employees and partners
• Write, edit, and shape communications on topics from strategic initiatives to programs and updates
• Advise stakeholders on communications strategy, messaging, timing, audience and channel selection
• Own channel health and coordinate reviews with stakeholders to ensure timely communications
