The Dot Group in Austin is seeking a strategic external communications leader to translate the group’s strategy into high-impact plans across media relations, public affairs, corporate communications, digital content and events.

You will work with the Global Head of Communications, becoming a trusted adviser to senior leadership across over 30 countries and shaping reputation management and proactive campaigns.

Formación

• 8–10 years in external communications with leadership experience.
• Experience across multiple regions (UK/Europe/US/APAC) and time zones.
• Outstanding writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Proven media relationships and ability to secure coverage.
• Crisis management experience with strong judgment under pressure.
• Corporate/B2B communications experience in real estate, finance or hospitality.

Responsabilidades

• Translate strategy into annual external communications plans with clear priorities.
• Lead proactive and reactive press office, driving high-impact campaigns.
• Draft press materials and brief spokespeople for interviews.
• Coordinate investor relations messaging with Legal and Finance.
• Manage crisis comms protocols and post-incident reviews.
• Oversee GEO/SEO and digital content; shape cross-brand storytelling.
• Shape events, speaking programmes and awards across markets.
• Coach junior team members and develop communications capability.
