Job summary

Penguin Solutions is seeking a Senior Global Event Marketing Manager to lead our global event program, with emphasis on Americas. You will own branded in-person and virtual events and partner with Sales, Demand Gen, and regional teams to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in B2B event marketing, strong project management, and budget skills, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of B2B event marketing supporting high-touch sales motions.
• Proven experience managing events from strategy through execution.
• Strong project management, organizational, and budget management skills.
• Experience with executives, sales, marketing, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience measuring event performance and business impact.
• Willingness to travel domestic and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute targeted events that create compelling customer experiences to reinforce Penguin’s brand and value proposition.
• Develop event strategies, budgets, timelines, and integrated pre-, during-, and post-event programs aligned to marketing and sales objectives.
• Own end-to-end planning and execution of Americas events, including conferences, sponsorships, customer events, executive programs, and activations.
• Partner with Sales, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Communications, Brand, and regional teams to maximize event awareness, engagement, and pipeline impact.
• Manage event logistics, vendors, agencies, sponsorships, contracts, registration, and onsite execution.
• Lead venue research, including site visits as required, and vendor evaluation, including negotiating favorable contracts.
• Advise EMEA and APJ teams with best practices and tools; travel to select international events as needed.
• Establish global event processes, standards, governance, and measurement for a consistent brand experience.
• Evaluate the global event landscape and opportunities to recommend events to enter, scale, or exit.
• Measure event performance and ROI to optimize the portfolio and inform investments.
