Job summary

Ares Management Corporation is seeking a senior network engineer to design, automate, and secure globally distributed network infrastructure. You will implement SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and firewall architectures while driving automation with Terraform, Ansible, and Python.

Work involves collaborating with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and application teams to deliver scalable, compliant network services in a controlled, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, telecommunications, or related discipline.
• CCNP/CCIE or equivalent expert-level networking experience preferred.
• Microsoft Azure or Palo Alto Networks certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and automate enterprise network infrastructure across global offices, data centers, cloud, and WAN environments.
• Engineer resilient routing, switching, SD-WAN, wireless, and hybrid cloud connectivity using Cisco, Meraki, and Azure.
• Develop Terraform modules, Ansible playbooks, Python tooling, and API integrations for network and security platforms.
• Create CI/CD workflows with Git-based reviews, automated validation, approvals, and rollback capability.
• Operate Palo Alto firewalls and secure network architectures with segmentation and Zero Trust.
• Provide L3 engineering support, lead troubleshooting, and improve resiliency and DR.
• Produce reference architectures, runbooks, and technical documentation; collaborate across teams and vendors.
