Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Principal Electrical Safety Engineer to lead global electrical safety initiatives across our semiconductor operations. You will act as the technical expert, directing high‑risk safety programs and reviewing complex safety documentation with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities include interpreting SEMI S2, NFPA 79 and IEC 60204‑1, influencing safe‑by‑design outcomes, and engaging suppliers to uphold safety standards worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years in electrical safety, equipment engineering, maintenance, or EHS engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SEMI S2, NFPA 79, IEC 60204-1 and safety schematics.
