Job summary

Astera Labs is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Environmental Health & Safety to protect employees and enable global growth. You will lead the global EH&S program, drive emergency preparedness, and partner with Real Estate, Facilities, Legal, HR, and operations to embed safety into daily work.

The candidate should have 10+ years of EH&S leadership in tech/manufacturing, strong OSHA and ISO knowledge, and a proven track record building scalable programs in fast-growing settings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading EH&S programs in technology or regulated environments.
• Global EH&S programs across multiple locations.
• Experience building scalable programs in high-growth organizations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
• Experience supporting engineering labs or hardware environments.
• Certifications or related credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead global EH&S program strategy, policies, standards, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable EH&S regulations across regions.
• Develop governance, processes, and metrics to support company growth.
• Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and mitigation initiatives.
• Drive hazard identification, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Build vendor partnerships for EH&S compliance, inspections, training, and program execution.
• Manage EH&S operating budgets and identify efficiency improvements.
