Job summary

Northeastern University is seeking a full-time Research Coordinator for the PINE Lab in Boston, MA. The role supports Project SCALE, coordinating across multiple cohorts and international sites, and liaises with huru for EEG hardware/software development.

Travel opportunities are available as needed, and the position offers exposure to all stages of the research process from data management to manuscript preparation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Developmental or Clinical Psychology, Neuroscience, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Experience with large-scale pediatric data or clinical trial data is a plus.
  • Experience with EEG or fMRI data is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project administration, IRB interactions, reimbursements, databases, and data processing.
  • Train and supervise lab volunteers on the grant.
  • Purchase equipment and support lab operations.
  • Manage finances and budgets for the project.
  • Develop and maintain lab websites and assist in hiring activities.
  • Draft lab procedures, communicate with university administrators, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop IRB applications and document research protocols.
  • Organize and maintain human subject data; maintain secure databases.
  • Perform coding and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, R, Unix, bash, and HTML.
  • Contribute to literature reviews and manuscript drafting with mentorship.
