Job summary

Wagner College seeks an International Student Services Coordinator & Designated School Official (DSO) to support international students through advising, immigration compliance, and student services. The role emphasizes collaboration with Athletics and other campus offices to ensure seamless enrollment and ongoing engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and eligibility for DSO designation.
• Experience in higher education, student services, or immigration-related advising.
• Ability to interpret regulations and apply them consistently.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive student information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line advising to international students on F-1 status and enrollment.
• Complete training and, upon designation, serve as a Designated School Official.
• Maintain SEVIS records and prepare I-20s within authorized responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Directors, Athletics, and other offices on student matters.
• Support international student-athletes with onboarding, enrollment, and status maintenance.
• Develop SOPs and operational resources for Global Education.
• Assist with orientation, programming, and ongoing engagement.
