Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks an Engineering Program Manager to lead ecodesign regulatory compliance initiatives across hardware.

You will translate EU and global regulations into actionable plans, drive cross-functional teams, and partner with IEI, Legal, and Government Affairs to shape regulatory strategy. In this leadership role, you will manage end-to-end programs, assess regulatory risk, and foster design-for-disassembly and material efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or sustainability field.
• 7+ years of experience in product environmental compliance or ecodesign.
• Strong program management and cross-functional leadership.
• Deep knowledge of EU ErP, ESPR, Batteries Regulation, ENERGY STAR.
• Experience leading multi-stakeholder programs and schedules.
• Ability to translate regulatory content into actionable product constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ecodesign regulatory programs across Apple hardware.
• Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, milestones, and roadmaps for regulatory initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional groups across hardware engineering, product design, operations, supply chain, legal, product marketing, and government affairs.
• Interpret draft regulations, assess feasibility, and feed design constraints back to engineering.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies with clear decision frameworks.
• Establish tools to track global ecodesign regulatory developments across jurisdictions.
• Monitor regulatory trends to inform long-range product planning.
• Drive program objectives and schedules with decisive leadership.
