Job summary

Tricentis Americas, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance to lead a global security program, reporting to the CISO.

You will own security policies, controls, and risk management, while building trusted partnerships with internal teams, auditors, and vendors. You will drive strategic initiatives across privacy, GRC tooling, certifications, and regulatory alignment, including M&A support and continuous compliance improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Governance, Risk, and Compliance or related field with leadership experience.
• Experience managing security policies, procedures, and controls in regulated environments.
• Proven track record leading internal/external audits and third-party vendor management.
• Experience in risk management programs, incident response, and data governance.
• Strong understanding of industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001/27701, NIST).
• Familiarity with Secure Controls Framework (SCF) and implementing security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team to oversee security governance, risk, compliance, privacy, and customer trust.
• Own security policies, procedures, and controls to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement an information security risk management program, including strategy and self-assessments.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders, auditors, and vendors; manage M&A due diligence and awareness initiatives.
• Oversee data governance, product certification, and compliance to align with regulatory controls while maintaining engineering velocity.
• Configure and maintain GRC tools for evidence collection, gap identification, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Privacy Counsel on ISO 27701 certification and lead security audits.
