Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of R&D, Applications and Testing for the Marlborough, MA site. You will lead an ~20-person global Applications team, build strong customer partnerships, and steer priorities across functions to translate customer needs into scientific insights and business impact.

You will drive upstream bioprocessing expertise, oversee stage-gate processes, and influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Progressive leadership experience in life sciences, biotech, bioprocessing or related fields.
• Experience leading global teams across multiple geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-layered applications organization of ~20 associates across three geographies.
• Build partnerships with customers, Field Applications, Commercial, Product Management and R&D.
• Influence decisions using evidence, structured input and disciplined execution.
