Qualifications

• Health science degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with significant experience in global pharmaceutical safety risk management.
• Line management experience required.
• Thorough understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations, particularly with respect to signal detection, DSUR, PBRER, and Risk Management Planning.
• This role requires up to 5-10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for Safety Science capabilities and lead global teams.
• Oversee SMTs and ensure robust signal detection and safety analytics.
• Mentor teams in risk management planning and pharmacovigilance activities.
• Build and maintain external partnerships and represent safety science in regulatory contexts.
