Job summary

Amentum, a premier global services partner, seeks a Forensic Digital Evidence Advisor to mentor host-country examiners in digital forensics, chain of custody, and report writing under ICITAP. This role focuses on mobile and computer evidence extraction, preservation, and analysis for court production.

As an independent contractor, you will train officials on operating systems, tools like Detego, Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, and Autopsy, and help develop QA, SOPs, and QA standards while coordinating

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related digital evidence examination experience.
• Experience using a wide variety of extraction and analysis tools beyond Cellebrite (e.g., Detego, Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, Autopsy).
• Experience training other forensic examiners and first responders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Clearable: Must obtain and maintain a Public Trust US Government Clearance. US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor host-country examiners on OS, digital forensics, chain of custody, and report writing.
• Advise partners on procurement, testing, use, and maintenance of digital extraction tools.
• Deliver instruction in security assessments, link analysis, and digital evidence exploitation.
• Lead working groups, facilitate meetings, and draft technical reports for US government stakeholders.
• Assist host-country labs in developing quality management systems and aligning with international standards.
