Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ashburn, VA is recruiting a Data Center Project Manager to lead electrical, mechanical, and controls work within AWS data centers. You will oversee project scope, manage cross-functional teams, and drive improvements using data-driven insight.

The CPI team focuses on critical infrastructure projects to optimize space, power, and cooling in global data centers. The role requires a foundation in electrical/mechanical engineering, plus 5+ years in data center project

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural aspects of projects.
Identify areas for improvement using data provided by team and organizations.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to complete projects on time and within scope.
Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards across projects.
