Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Cyber Incident Response Coordinator within Cyber & Investigative Services to lead global incident response efforts and coordinate complex cybersecurity incidents with external partners, legal, and risk teams. You will drive remediation and continuous improvement across the incident lifecycle.

The role demands advanced incident response expertise, superb communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years’ experience across Information Security roles including incident response, SOC/IR leadership, or cyber defense.
• 5+ years in roles such as SOC Analyst/Manager, Threat Intelligence, Detection Engineering, or related functions.
• CISSP, CISA, GCFA, GCFE, GCIH or CCIM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently coordinate complex response efforts to global cybersecurity incidents with potential nontraditional working hours.
• Serve as liaison to business units and interface with Information Security teams, vendors, and external parties.
• Establish and maintain relationships with General Counsel, Data Privacy/Protection, and Risk Management contacts.
• Drive integration with other incident management programs to ensure consistency across IT teams.
• Oversee projects and deliver metrics to leadership for operational improvement of incident response processes.
• Draft communications and provide timely reports to leadership during and after events.
