Job summary

IBM is seeking an Associate X-Force Incident Response Consultant for the Herndon, VA area to help clients navigate cyber incidents and digital investigations. You will work with Fortune 1000 clients to implement incident response practices, digital forensics, and threat hunting while adopting IBM's best practices in global delivery and support.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn new technologies quickly, and contribute to a fast-paced security operations environment.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills that enhance collaboration and relationship building.
Initiative and growth mindset to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills.
Proficiency in Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Threat Hunting.
Understanding of cyber security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigations.
Knowledge of EDR tools to hunt threats.
Excellent problem-solving and communication in English.

Responsibilities

Assist clients in selection, implementation, and support of applications, methodology, and tools.
Engage with clients to secure their environments as an Associate X-Force Incident Response Consultant.
Rapidly learn new technologies and processes with minimal assistance; travel dependent on project requirements.
