Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Hawthorne, Torrance, and Rancho Cordova seeks a Customs Compliance Manager for Aerospace & Defense Electronics. You will lead the customs compliance program and partner with operations, supply chain, and engineering to enable compliant global trade.

The role requires deep technical expertise in HS classification, valuation, origin, FTAs, tariff mitigation, and ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• 4-year undergraduate degree in international business, supply chain, law or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in customs and trade compliance.
• U.S. Customs Broker License preferable.
• Experience with ITAR/export controls; defense/aerospace industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain customs compliance policies and internal controls.
• Review HS classifications, valuation, origin determinations, and tariff applicability.
• Coordinate audits, corrective action plans, and regulatory interactions.
• Oversee import/export processes with brokers and internal teams.
• Deliver training on customs compliance to cross-functional teams.
