Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Customs Compliance Analyst for a five-month on-site assignment in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. You will ensure compliance with CBP and relevant trade regulations, review shipment data, and coordinate with brokers to facilitate clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of related field experience.
• Bilingual in English and Korean (reading/writing and speaking).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong data entry and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CBP compliance according to laws and regulations (tariff classification, origin, valuation, FTAs, trade remedies).
• Review daily/monthly audit activities for shipment data.
• Verify EDI entries including HS codes/FTA eligibility and update as needed.
• Consolidate entry data for customs clearance.
• Coordinate with Customs Broker and monitor clearance status.
• Review taxation data for errors and process ACH duty payments timely.
