Job summary

National Machinery is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to troubleshoot machine issues, identify parts, and coordinate service on a global scale. You will work with customers to propose solutions and navigate commercial aspects of quotes.

The role requires a 4-year engineering degree and strong problem-solving, reading blueprints, and communication skills. Occasional travel to local and domestic customers is expected as part of growing our service business.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree (mechanical, technical, or electrical).
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot machine issues using tools and platforms.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customers (local & domestic).
• Read and interpret machine blueprints and schematics.
• Maintain professionalism during high-pressure situations with customers and team members.
• Strong organizational skills to manage projects and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building collaborative relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machine problems with customers and discuss service options.
• Identify costs, prices, and schedules for parts quotes.
• Participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation to support global coverage.
• Negotiate quotes for parts and services with customers.
• Manage inquiries and projects to ensure customer success.
• Occasional travel to local and domestic customers.
