Job summary

Iridium is seeking a Contracts Manager to shape and manage the contractual framework supporting Aireon’s global operations. You will develop, negotiate, and administer commercial agreements across domestic and international activities, partnering with Legal and Sales to drive compliant, competitive submissions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in contracting, strong legal and procurement know‑how, and an aptitude for building strong relationships with leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 8 years in business or commercial contracting (proposal development, contract negotiation, contract administration, procurement management, subcontractor oversight).
• Solid understanding of commercial contract law, procurement processes, and contract administration practices.
• Excellent communication skills to convey products, deliverables, analyses, and issues to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial agreements (service, consulting, purchase orders, statements of work, NDAs).
• Maintain accurate contract templates, records, and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address contractual and business issues and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Provide strategic advice and support to cross‑functional teams pursuing new business opportunities.
