Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior Director of Global Compliance to lead development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of enterprise-wide policies and programs from Irvine, CA. The role partners with regional teams to ensure legal and regulatory adherence across all regions and oversees global programs and training.

You will drive governance, third‑party risk, and strategic initiatives, aligning with growth strategies, M&A, and product launches while reporting on KPIs and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and experience in legal, internal audit, finance, or healthcare compliance.
• Master's Degree or JD preferred, with related compliance experience.
• US State Bar Admission is a plus.
• Experience in Healthcare Compliance in large Medical Device/Pharma/Biotech company.
• Experience guiding Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption guidance.
• Experience with third-party management and risk.
• Expert knowledge of global compliance laws and DOJ expectations.
• Project management and leadership experience.
• Experience managing global or regional programs and training.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and maintain global compliance policies and processes.
• Oversee global implementation with regional teams for consistency.
• Lead governance routines and third‑party management programs.
• Manage government inquiries related to Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption.
• Shape global policy ecosystem governance and lifecycle management.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for a cohesive policy framework.
• Provide strategic compliance guidance for growth, M&A, and product launches.
• Define and report KPIs to measure program effectiveness.
• Identify gaps and drive corrective improvements.
• Develop a robust talent development plan aligned with growth.
