Job summary

Cb&I Llc. is seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Attorney to lead enterprise compliance initiatives, collaborate on policy development, and manage complex regulatory matters across jurisdictions.

This role requires independence, strategic thinking, and strong communication with regulators and leadership. The position is based at our The Woodlands, TX headquarters with in‑office presence four days a week, reporting to the Director of Legal and Corporate Compliance Officer.

Qualifications

• J.D., LL.M., or LL.B. required.
• Licensed attorney in good standing in Texas or eligible to practice as Non‑Texas‑Licensed In‑House Counsel.
• 5+ years of experience implementing and enhancing corporate compliance programs.
• 2+ years of data governance, data protection, or privacy experience.
• 2+ years defending regulatory inquiries or investigations.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance enterprise compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, revise, and implement policies, procedures, controls, and compliance guidance.
• Collaborate on internal compliance matters including cross‑border regulatory requirements and third‑party due diligence.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify root causes, develop mitigation strategies, implement and manage remediation actions; track compliance and remediation efforts.
• Support and help lead supply chain and trade/export compliance initiatives.
• Support confidential internal investigations; draft investigation reports; manage whistleblower hotline and metric reporting.
• Assist with regulator communications; coordinate submissions and responses to regulatory exams, audits, inquiries, remediation plans, incidents, or breaches.
• Provide guidance on aligning operational controls with regulatory requirements and privacy initiatives.
