Job summary

Phoenix International Holdings, Inc is seeking a Cush Diver to support UWSH operations in Fort Lauderdale. The role involves hull cleaning, underwater surveys, propeller work, and maintenance on commercial ships, reporting to the UWSH Program Manager.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of a professional diving school with at least five years of commercial diving experience, able to travel worldwide on short notice, and possess a valid Passport, ADCI Card, and TWIC Card.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional diving school.
• Minimum of five years actual diving experience in commercial UWSH activities including hull cleaning, survey, and propeller cleaning/polishing.
• Must be able to travel worldwide on short notice for indefinite periods.
• Must possess a current Passport, ADCI Card, and TWIC Card.
• Must successfully pass background check and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish tasks as assigned by the Diving Supervisor.
• Comply with established Phoenix QMS processes and procedures.
• Comply with regulations related to diving qualifications and operations.
• Maintain and test diving equipment; report defects or malfunctions.
• Follow safe diving practices and ensure safety of others.
• Maintain a diver's logbook with dives, medicals, courses, and equipment maintenance.
