Job summary

CSL Behring is seeking a Global Clinical Lead (GCL) to provide strategic and tactical medical leadership for clinical development across 5–8 GCPLs. This executive will work with the Therapeutic Area Leadership team to shape the global strategy, oversee clinical plans, and ensure high-quality content for regulatory submissions.

The role requires an MD with subspecialty, 8–10 years in clinical development, and demonstrated leadership and influencing abilities.

Qualifications

• MD with board certification; relevant subspecialty preferred or experience in the TA.
• Extensive clinical development leadership experience in pharma/biotech.
• 8–10 years in industry or academia with industry exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical medical leadership for clinical development activities.
• Lead and mentor GCPLs and ensure resourcing across the portfolio.
• Define global clinical development strategies and contribute to BD due diligence.
• Ensure high-quality clinical and scientific content for regulatory submissions and defenses.
• Prepare for stage-gate evaluations and benefit-risk assessments.
• Represent CSL Behring externally with KOLs and regulatory bodies.
• Drive excellence in clinical development execution and matrix collaboration.
