Job summary

GE Healthcare is seeking an MR Clinical Development Specialist to provide industry-leading applications support for MR scanner development. You will act as the clinical voice of the customer, ensuring solutions meet needs and supporting global program teams.

You will work onsite daily at our Waukesha, WI location, collaborating with engineering, training field staff, and participating in new product introductions. Strong MR experience and teaching ability are essential.

Qualifications

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or global equivalent.
  • Knowledge of MR user needs outside the U.S.
  • Experience performing MR procedures on 1.5T and 3.0T systems.
  • At least 5 years in the medical industry.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20%.
  • Strong teaching and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support for MR product development.
  • Collaborate with global engineering to incorporate clinical input.
  • Guide development of imaging and post-processing features.
  • Evaluate feature performance via protocols and partner site tests.
  • Assist with customer complaints and product solutions.
  • Develop clinical competitive intelligence for field support.
  • Support scientific congresses, seminars and internal training.
  • Ensure high-quality MR training for field teams and sales.

Job Description Summary

The MR Clinical Development Specialist provides industry leading advanced applications support for the development of Magnetic Resonance scanners and applications. The primary responsibility of this specialist is to act as clinical “voice of the customer”, ensure product solutions meet customer requirements, provide support to global program teams, assist with customer complaints and to participate in various new product introductions related activities, for the end to end MR examination. Must be able to work onsite daily out of our Waukesha, WI location.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support for the development of Magnetic Resonance Imaging products.
  • Work with global engineering to develop post-processing features by providing clinical input from customers.
  • Apply knowledge of clinical MR needs to guide definition and development of new imaging and post-processing techniques.
  • Evaluate performance and quality of features throughout the development process by designing protocols, traveling to partner sites for installation and testing.
  • Assist with customer complaints, investigations, and ultimately offer product solutions.
  • Develop (clinical) competitive intelligence to support the field with counter arguments and selling advantages.
  • Support scientific congresses, customer seminars and internal training events.
  • Ensure high quality MR training is delivered to the field applications teams and sales/marketing team.
Qualifications
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or global equivalent.
  • Knowledge of global MR user needs outside of the United States.
  • Experience in performing MR procedures including a variety of clinical applications with 1.5T and 3.0T MR systems.
  • At least 5 yrs. of experience in the medical industry.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time Experience in communicating scientific data (talks, posters, papers).
  • Teaching ability: present complex material while maintaining a professional image.
Desired Characteristics
  • Advanced degree (Bachelors or Masters).
  • At least 8 yrs. experience in the medical industry.
  • Application experience.
  • X-ray, CT, or NM experience.
  • Previous GE Healthcare experience.
  • Competitive experience.
