Job summary

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Clinical Data Manager to develop and manage the global clinical data management process from start-up to database lock and submission support.

You will coordinate with DM CROs, internal biostatistics, labs, and trial operations to define data management requirements and ensure timely, high-quality data capture. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years DM experience, Medidata Rave expertise, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, biometrics, mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years DM experience with at least two years at a sponsor company.
• Experience with Medidata Rave EDC software.
• Experience with Phase I–III trials, preferably global.
• Excellent communication and time management across functional teams.
• Autonomous and capable of leading DM activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own processes for data compilation, tracking, cleaning, and finalization.
• Coordinate with DM CRO, biostatistics, labs, and trial operations to define DM requirements.
• Lead data cleaning and query management to ensure data quality.
• Ensure eCRFs, edit checks, and SOPs meet study requirements and update as needed.
• Maintain and monitor data metrics, timelines, and collaboration with multiple vendors.
