Job summary

Dimensional Fund Advisors is seeking undergrad or graduate students for its 2027 summer internship in the Global Client Group’s Operations department. The in-person, nine-week program will expose interns to day-to-day analyst work in sales operations and BI, including data governance, reporting, and analytics.

You will leverage internal and third-party data to draw insights and support multiple projects across teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or specialized Master’s degree with expected graduation date of December 2027 - June 2028
• GPA minimum of 3.2 or higher
• Courses in mathematics, statistics, analytics, database management, or data visualization preferred
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with data experience
• Advanced Excel; SQL and Python proficiency
• Experience creating data visuals and communicating insights
• Ability to gather requirements amid ambiguity
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
• Team oriented with collaborative mindset
• Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to support sales goals and campaigns
• Assist in developing BI capabilities for enablement of US sales channels using Power BI and Snowflake
• Identify data automation opportunities and partner to implement solutions
• Handle day-to-day responsibilities with guidance from team
• Understand systems used to generate standard reporting
• Maintain and improve process maps and documentation
• Proactively communicate needs, challenges, and capacity
• Develop understanding of Dimensional’s investment philosophy and process
