Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own daily P&L and month-end close processes for the Clearing Desk.
• Analyze drivers of P&L and provide attribution and commentary on movements to desk heads and senior management.
• Compile and distribute MIS, including monthly financials and ad-hoc requests.
• Partner with Front Office, Treasury, Operations, Risk, and Tech to investigate and resolve control and P&L issues.
• Build strong partnerships with the Clearing Desk to understand business strategy and financial impacts.
• Ensure adherence to product controller standards through robust controls, reconciliations, and issue resolution.

As a Global Clearing Product Control – Associate in our Corporate & Investment Bank, you will play a key role in Profit & Loss and risk reporting for the Global Futures & Optionsand Over-the-Counter Clearing business. This position offers exposure to regulatory reform, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership in a rapidly evolving industry. You will gain expertise in a critical area within the bank and markets, supporting both daily operations and strategic initiatives.

Job responsibilities

• Own daily Profit & Loss and month-end close processes for the Clearing Desk.
• Analyze key drivers of Profit & Loss and provide detailed attribution and commentary explaining daily and monthly P&L movements to desk heads, business managers and senior finance management.
• Compile and distribute Management Information Systems to the business, including monthly financials and ad-hoc requests.
• Partner with Front Office, Treasury desk, Operations, Risk, and Technology teams to identify, investigate, and resolve control, reporting, and P&L issues in a timely manner.
• Build strong partnerships with the Clearing Desk to understand business strategy, investment and revenue-generating activities, and the resulting financial and balance sheet impacts.
• Ensure adherence to Corporate & Investment Bank product controller standards through robust controls, reconciliations, and issue resolution.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• At least 2 years of experience in Product Control, Treasury Finance, Markets Finance, Financial Control, or related functions.
• Bachelors in Finance or Accounting or an equivalent degree.
• Knowledge of U.S. Treasuries, repo, reverse repo, securities financing transactions, or interest rate products.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and execute on various deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to implement and maintain effective controls.
• Self-motivated, results‑driven, and able to forward operational change.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Experience with Alteryx and VBA.
• Understanding of clearing, collateral, margin, or exchange-traded derivatives markets.
